Jule joined the Read Charlotte team in February 2026. Having moved often while growing up, she gained a rich collection of perspectives that shaped her adaptable and people-centered approach to work and life. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Lewis-Clark State College, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and is a commissioned North Carolina Notary. Jule spent 30 years in the construction industry, holding roles from Office Manager to Project Manager.
Books have always been a constant in Jule’s life. She loves mysteries, science fiction, and self-development books. Her favorite childhood book was Winnie the Pooh– after all, who would not want to wander the Hundred Acre Wood with friends every day?
Today, Jule finds joy in sharing with her grandchildren the very same books that were once read to her. For her, reading is more than a pastime; it is a generational continuum, a way of passing down imagination, curiosity, and connection from one family branch to the next.
