Charlotte Roberts

Impact Manager

Charlotte Roberts joined the Read Charlotte team in July of 2022. Charlotte is native to Charlotte, NC and is a proud alumna of Providence Day School. Charlotte holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Wake Forest University and a master’s degree in Reading Education from Vanderbilt University. Charlotte was a member of the 2018 Bay Area Teach for America Corps and served as a 1st grade teacher in Oakland, CA. Her favorite childhood book was The Day the Crayons Quit because of the bright illustrations.

Who We Are

Read Charlotte is a community initiative that unites educators, community partners, and families to improve children’s reading from birth to third grade. We don’t run programs. We are a capacity-building intermediary that supports local partners to apply evidence-based knowledge about effective reading instruction and interventions, high-quality execution, continuous improvement, and data analysis to improve reading outcomes. 

Read Charlotte is a civic initiative of Foundation For The Carolinas.
