Steve Goodman - Executive on Loan to Read Charlotte
Steve Goodman is a Bank of America Executive on Loan to Read Charlotte, a community initiative that unites families, educators and community partners to improve children’s literacy from birth to third grade.
Previously Goodman served as the HR executive for Global Human Resources at Bank of America, leading a team of HR professionals responsible for talent acquisition, learning, leadership development, compensation, diversity and inclusion, and employee relations for over 2,500 employees globally.
Goodman joined Bank of America in 1986 and has served in several HR leadership assignments as a human resources generalist, employee relations executive, compensation manager and talent acquisition leader.
Prior to Bank of America, Goodman served as a human resources generalist at American Savings and Loan Association in Miami, Florida.
Goodman served as the co-chair of the Bank of America Domestic Violence Task Force from 2013 to 2018. Goodman served on the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Charlotte for six years.
Goodman received his bachelor’s degree in Criminology from Florida State University. He and his wife, Annette, reside in Charlotte. They have two grown children and five grandchildren.
